Proposals were developed to convert a disused mill to 22 residential units including a number of affordable one and two bedroom apartments.

New stairwells and lifts were inserted and apartments carefully planned to maximise the potential of the existing structure whilst respecting its layout of bays and fenestration.

At roof level a floor previously removed was to be reinstated with a new roof profile and contemporary materials and detailing, signalling the building’s new lease of life.
